Quilt Show in Bishop Hill's Colony School

Join us in Bishop Hill for the 

2014 Prairie Queen Quilt Show

Colony School
May 16 & 17, 10 am – 5 pm
May 18, 10 am – 4 pm  
Admission is $4.00
More than 100 quilted items will be on display. This year's theme is jars, jellyrolls, and jewels. Quilt categories include antique quilts, wall hangings, club members quilted items, and more. There will be demonstrations on all three days of the event, as well as awards, door prizes, and raffles. Don’t miss out on the Trash & Treasures corner, where all kinds of bargains can be had for pennies on the dollar.

The Steeple Building Museum will be hosting the Challenge quilts and is showcasing a special quilt/fabric display created by dedicated volunteers. The Henry County Historical Society and the Galva Historical Society will show their quilt collections at the Henry County Museum.  A special quilt exhibit will be on display at VagnHall Galleri, located on the second floor of the Prairie Arts Center.  While in town, plan to stop in at the new Welcome Center where you will find Messippi Threads, the river quilt collection, on display.
