Bishop Hill Car Show Returns Sunday, July 26




Please join us in the park in historic Bishop Hill on Sunday for a  day of automotive fun. Registration will be 9am - 11:30am. Entries will be judged by participants from 11:30am - 1:30pm. At 3pm, trophies will be awarded at the band shell at the center of the village park; these will include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards  for each of the 20 classes as well as Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Engine and Best of Show. Dash Plaques will be given to the first 100 entries.
The entry fee is $10.00. Find your application to download and print HERE. Proceeds from this show go to the restoration and preservation of the Bishop Hill Colony School completed in 1861.  It was the last major structure built before the dissolution of the Bishop Hill Colony (1846-1861). The Colony School, available for rental, is the headquarters of the Bishop Hill Old Settlers’ Association.
Bishop Hill, Illinois is located 50 miles southeast of the Quad Cities; 60 miles northwest of Peoria. Take route 34 west of Galva and turn right onto HWY 39. Travel 2.5 miles north to Bishop Hill.
